For most farm sessions, we recommend starting about 1-2 hours before sunset.
That gives us time to shoot during the softer late afternoon light and flow right into golden hour, when everything turns warm, golden, and cinematic.

Golden hour is the window just after sunrise or before sunset when the sunlight is soft, warm, and flattering. It’s the kind of light that makes everything look better, skin tones, landscapes, even dust in the air. If you want photos with that gentle glow and rich colours, this is the time to shoot.
